Everyone is invited to join our Cycle to work cycling campaign to help get more people to bike to work. It doesn't matter if you ride every day or haven't been on a bike in years, you can ride any time, over several months to take part!

Why cycle?

Whether it's to boost your fitness, health or bank balance, or as an environmental choice, taking up bicycle riding could be one of the best decisions you ever make.

Here are some:

You’ll get there faster: Commute by bike in major cities and you’ll get there in half the time of cars, research shows.

Beat illness: Is cycling good for you? Yes! Forget apples, riding’s the way to keep the doctor at bay.

Save the planet: Twenty bicycles can be parked in the same space as one car. It takes around five percent of the materials and energy used to make a car to build a bike, and a bike produces zero pollution.

Cycle To Work

This year we're very excited to be launching Bengaluru’s very own workplace cycle challenge programme. Organisations from all around the city (with national leaderboards too, of course) will compete to see which can get the most staff to try riding a bike.

The organisations with the highest percentage of staff riding in October/ November in their size category will win, plus there will be incentives for ambassadors as well.

Why Take Part

Each ride contributes to data that the city can use to make decisions on safe cycling facilities and policies that they may provision. So its important to ride more and get more of your colleagues to ride.

You don't have to be a keen cycle commuter to take part – all your bicycle rides to work count towards your company score!

The ambassadorship

Wait, what? Ambassador? What is that?

You’ll essentially be our inside man in your company, promoting the cause of cycling to work among your colleagues and friends.

We’ll contact you to see how many you’ve managed to enroll, and (wink, wink) there might be a few sweet deals thrown in just for you during the challenge! Doesn’t that sound exciting?
